Today was a GOOD day! In fact it may have been the best day of the year so far. The congregation of Valley Unitarian Universalist Church took a stand today. We stepped out from behind our walls and took our place in the community. We practiced our Principals. We walked our talk. Today, for the first time in our history, VUU marched in the Phoenix Pride parade. And, not only did we march, we were the largest (and loudest) UU contingent in the whole parade! It's my hope that next year we we get larger crowds, louder chants and an even stronger presence at the parade and the festival.
I want to thank you all for making me extremely proud, not only to be a UU but to be a member of VUU!
